June 2, 2009 at 1:13 am | In Blogroll, Diary, Fun | Leave a CommentIn the city of Karlskrona again enjoying the Swedish summer.. thank god, am not in chennai now, heard itz around 40′c. Found a reason to feed my page atleast now and on looking back what had happened in the past 2 months!!
*My bull doing rounds in bangalore (courtesy: My bro)
* It was an awesome ride in the Chennai-Bangalore NH. It was the road and a long drive my bull was looking for!! Clocked around 360 Kms in 6 hrs with 3stops in between at kanchipuram, ambur and krishnagiri.
*Enjoyed by first b’day ever alone in my room here in Karlskrona, need to mark my 26th.
*Was bit worried about the elections results (none other than UPA?? and in TN, DMK?? too bad)
*Happy that my investment portfolio showing green after bathing in blood for quite long. Waiting for the right time to book profits. (My only personal gain in UPA win )
*Had never been (a.f.a.i.r) so busy during work hours, gud that my job keeps me busy atleast now
*”Sleep->Eat->Walk->Work->Walk->Cook->Eat->Walk-> Work->Walk->Snack->Chat->Watch(tv)->Cook->Eat->Sleep” had become my routine for weekdays(sometimes “Shop”) and for weekends, remove work and few walks and read “Shop”
*Trying my best to fit “Gym” (not for Six pack, but to avoid six bag )and “Play” to my routine!!
*Looking for a right time to go for a long trip, already had a short one, been to “Kalmar”, a city nearby.

Riding the BULL!!! The TBTS!!!
March 11, 2009 at 5:58 pm | In Blogroll, Diary | 4 CommentsHad become a proud owner of my dream bike ROYAL ENFIELD ThunderBird Twinspark!!! shortly called RE TBTS!!! It took a month for me to ride my bull after booking it. Had a test drive before booking and that was the first time I drove a TB and felt like it was the bike for me. Now, if I drive my old bike (TVS fiero), i feel like “comeon!! were you driving this school boys bike these many years??”
I can’t express the feeling I get when ppl gaze at the bull (me as well ) when I stand in signals etc., What a bike yaar!!!
Have clocked around 1000 kms now and it just feels great whenever I am thumping on that. The first long drive was also done (chennai to pondicherry and back) and it has the best riding comfort. I really didn’t feel like taking a break in between, but still I did, to give a break for the engine, not for me
Getting around 35-40Kmpl in city and 40Kmpl in long and I hope it increases with the services.
The maintanence cost might be more and I just don’t worry about that, coz it feels like GOD when u are on TBTS wheels, and do GOD really worry abt maintanence??!!!

December 26, 2008 at 1:56 am | In Blogroll, Diary | Leave a CommentToday got to watch the Kalaignar TV programs, I mean, “Christmas Special”, but not the actual shows. They also tele casted “Bagrid” special i guess. It was very disappointing.
Do you people remember that during Deepavali, the same Kalaingar TV showed special programs under the tag “Vidumurai naal Sirapu nigazhchigal”.
If deepavali is a “Vidumurai naal”, what does the Christmas is???
If these people accept/believe the birth of Jesus or the belief of muslims, why not the hindu’s???the killing of Naragasura??or the hindu’s belief??
If they were afraid about playing with the sentiments of the Muslims and Christians, y not of the Hindus??
I am neither an atheist nor a theist, but couldn’t bare these kind of foul plays.
Is it fair Kalaignar TV???????

1. The economic crisis in US (vaazhkaingarthu oru vattam)
2.The biggies queue up for filing bankruptcy(thousands losing jobs)
3.Stock market crash (sensex rides on the chennai’s rain affected road)
4. The Mumbai attack (worst nights)
5.The same night, water enetered my room, soak and woke me up(thanks varuna bagavan)
But whatever happens aroound me.. life is all same.. sleep->eat->work->eat->work->eat->sleep. (God save me)

Iam talking about “En Anbey” from Satyam, though the movie didn’t do well in box-office, couple of songs from the movie is worth listening. Sathana Sargam has rendered her voice for this number, even though it feels good, a native singer shud have sung this number, coz the song is with powerdul lyrics.

Ithu enna oor!! Singapore!!!

We planned for either singapore/srilanka/Andaman and zeroed in on Singapore and booked tickets in TigerAirways and the total cost of travel came around 10K (heard that it was a good deal) and booked beds in Frangrance hostel at Little india in Singapore, a night stay costed around 650 INR (22 SGD) and around 600 INR (20 SGD) for food and 250 INR (8 SGD) a day. In total 20K for 4 days of stay.
And except shoping centre and malls therez nothing much in Singapore. 3 days is good enough to spend and the sentosa island takes a day. A day for shopping and a day more to visit other places. Felt like roaming in the home place in Little India , guessed thatz y it got that name. Sentosa has good beaches to play, few rides and a Dolphin show (not to be missed). Night safari was not that impressive. And we could not manage to visit the zoo or the bird park. Shopping can be done in either China town or shops in and around Little india.

Bharti Airtel – Great Going!!

Letz not talk about this. What really surprised me is the time taken to get an Broadband connection in chennai.
Actually I thought of getting a broadband in chennai and had only Tata indicom, BSNL and Airtel in list.
Tata Indicom just had one plan and so I just had Airtel and BSNL to select from. Though both has number of plans, I was bit scared abt the BSNL service (post installation). For the new connection itself, I have to visit their office and give the documents for verification and they will take their own time.
For Airtel, I just made a call to the customer care and requested for a new service and that day evening itself and Engineer came home and verified the feasibility and the next day I had the connection ready in my place. Really gud so far, letz see how they work on any complaints.
