Riding the BULL!!! The TBTS!!!
March 11, 2009 at 5:58 pm | In Blogroll, Diary | 4 CommentsHad become a proud owner of my dream bike ROYAL ENFIELD ThunderBird Twinspark!!! shortly called RE TBTS!!! It took a month for me to ride my bull after booking it. Had a test drive before booking and that was the first time I drove a TB and felt like it was the bike for me. Now, if I drive my old bike (TVS fiero), i feel like “comeon!! were you driving this school boys bike these many years??”
I can’t express the feeling I get when ppl gaze at the bull (me as well 
) when I stand in signals etc., What a bike yaar!!!
Have clocked around 1000 kms now and it just feels great whenever I am thumping on that. The first long drive was also done (chennai to pondicherry and back) and it has the best riding comfort. I really didn’t feel like taking a break in between, but still I did, to give a break for the engine, not for me
Getting around 35-40Kmpl in city and 40Kmpl in long and I hope it increases with the services.
The maintanence cost might be more and I just don’t worry about that, coz it feels like GOD when u are on TBTS wheels, and do GOD really worry abt maintanence??!!!
