The year 2006, I will never forget in my life..
Living so independent.. got completely free from a bug 
My brothers marriage..
Started staying with friends.. so far, was staying with my brother.
Some trips.. to coorg, ooty, connoor, hogenakkal, savandurga, mekedatu, thalakadu etc,.
2/3 team outings..
Lot more good things happened this year.. n I pray to god that 2007 will bring more happiness to all n me as well

Went to Hogenakkal last sunday (24/12) with my parents.
Started at around 6.30 am from bangalore in my bro’s santro and took krishnagiri, dharmapuri route to hogenakkal and it took around 4 hrs to reach the place.Had breakfast in Dharmapuri, Saravana bavan and itz at the diversion to be taken in Dharmapuri to Hogenakkal and still some 46 kms to drive on from there.
My bro. was driving all the way around 184kms. The road is very good all the way till krishnagiri and from krishnagiri to dharmapuri the road is ok as itz pathched all the way, so no potholes. The last 46 kms streatch from dharmapuri till hogenakkal is recently laid I believe, as itz very good now.
Lotz of water and ppl now in hogenakkal and around 10/11 falls are there now.. (it was only one when I went there last time in 2003) and had some nice time there. Had a nice oil massage and bath in the main falls. Took the parisal ride and paid 30/- per head. Really really lotz of water this time, we checked with our parisal captain abt the depth and got to know that is was over 100 ft deep this time.
Started from hogenakkal at around 4.30 and took pennagaram ->Palakodu->Rayakkottai->Hosur route on the way back and reached bangalore around 9.00pm.This route reaches Hosur jst before the hosur flyover and it was nice drive thro’ lotz of pattis (pathinettu pattikum mela). In this streatch, the road is very bad, at around 3/4 places with some potholes at unexpected places. It reduces the travel distance by some 20 kms but not the travel time as it passes thro’ lotz of villages and you can’t drive like u do in NH.
Will be adding some photos shortly… and It turned out to be a wonderful trip to end the year.

The new Zen is the latest offering from Maruti and will be available in the market from tomorrow and is actually Suzuki’s first generation MR Wagon and will be priced between Rs. 3.5-4 Lakh and will come with the Wagon R’s 1.1 liter 64 Bhp petrol engine. The new Zen as attractive. I feel it somewhat resembles Toyota Innova or Daewoo matiz.
